Swedish Massage
Relax. Recharge. Restore.
Swedish Massage is a classic therapeutic massage designed to help you slow down, release everyday tension, and give your body and mind an opportunity to reset.
Using long, flowing strokes and light to moderate pressure, Swedish Massage encourages relaxation while supporting circulation, easing muscular tension, and promoting an overall sense of well-being.
Whether you're feeling stressed, physically tired, or simply need some dedicated time for yourself, your session at Jet Set Recovery is customized to help you leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and restored.

A FOCUS ON RELAXATION
What Is Swedish Massage?
Swedish Massage is one of the most widely recognized forms of massage therapy. It uses smooth, rhythmic movements to work the muscles and soft tissues while creating an experience that is both therapeutic and deeply relaxing.
Unlike more targeted modalities such as Deep Tissue or Sports Massage, Swedish Massage generally takes a broader, full-body approach.
Pressure can range from light to moderate depending on your preferences, and your session can always be adjusted to focus additional attention on areas where you're carrying tension.

1. We start with a conversation.
Before your massage begins, we'll briefly discuss how you're feeling, any areas of tension, pressure preferences, and what you'd like to get out of your session.
It's time to relax.
Your therapist uses long, flowing strokes and other soothing massage techniques designed to ease muscular tension and encourage relaxation.
Pressure is customized for you.
Swedish Massage doesn't have to mean extremely light pressure. Your therapist can adjust from light to moderate pressure depending on your preferences and how your body responds.
You get time to reset.
Your only job during the session is to relax, breathe, and allow yourself some dedicated time away from the demands of everyday life.
WHAT ABOUT PRESSURE?
Your Massage, Your Pressure
There's no "correct" amount of pressure for a Swedish Massage.
Some clients prefer extremely light, soothing work. Others enjoy moderate pressure while still wanting the flowing, relaxing style associated with Swedish Massage.
Your therapist will work within your comfort level, and you're always encouraged to communicate if you'd like more or less pressure.
The goal isn't to tolerate your massage.
The goal is to enjoy it.
